Quartz or Self Winding Watch
In 1800, Max Stuhrling began creating luxury watches that still remain popular to this day. The watches are still popular because of the discerning men and women who still prefer a self winding watch over quartz.

Remember when VHS was going to destroy the movie theatre business? Obviously that isn’t the case. It’s the same with watches. Quartz was going to end the mechanical watch phenomenon.
